This month we will be featuring Nuel Umahi also known as DeGeneral. DeGeneral is a jos based gospel act, born on the 19th of january. He is an igbo boy you wouldn’t easily identify. Nuel Umahi has spent most of his life in Jos Plateau state Nigeria. He is an OAP with one of the best online radios I know ‘KR8 radio’. His love for hip hop has inspired him to preach the gospel in his own way. Gospel hip hop is a genre of music that can’t be performed by anybody.

 He is one of the few hip hop artistes who have decided to stand out in the jos hip hop industry, preaching the gospel through hip hop. 2018 was indeed a successful year for DeGeneral, he worked with likeminds such as Soul pee, nanji, nenrit, Oluwa Drumma.  His unique way of expression has led him to be the most featured artist in the previous year (2018). DeGeneral is a rap sensation that is sure to make you want to keep on listening. So keep an eye out for his works.
